Editing and mixing projects ranging from daytime TV – “Living in the sun”, reality TV – “Boxing Academy” and fly-on-the-wall – “Wife Swap”, through TV drama to feature films – “Dungeons and Dragons”, as well as cinema trailers and commercials. Nominated for a Gemini award during this period.

Oct 2002 – March 2004

Picture Production Company – Head of Audio. Lead an audio team preparing and mixing TV and Cinema trailers, commercials, documentary features, interactive DVD elements, DVD commentaries, even mixing and re-mastering feature films.

Nov 1993 – Sept 2002

dB Post Production – Dubbing Mixer / Technical Director. Tracklaying and mixing TV Documentaries, TV Drama and Cinema feature films. Projects ranged from children’s animation – “The Dreamstone”, factual shows – “Back to the floor”, comedy drama – “Teachers”, gritty features – Ken Loach’s “Land and Freedom”, to international blockbusters – “Tomorrow Never Dies”. Nominated for a Bafta for Sound, winner of a Golden Reel for ADR, and winner of a Cinema Audio Society award for outstanding achievement in sound mixing.

June 1992 – Oct 1993

VideoLondon Sound Studios – Assistant Dubbing Mixer. Preparation and mixing of documentaries and TV drama, from corporates for Marks and Spencer, “The South Bank Show” for LWT and “Sharpe’s Rifles”. Also recording of foley and ADR, and re-versioning of “Monty Python’s Flying Circus”.

August 1990 – June 1992

Studios around the Bristol area, including BBC Bristol, VideoVillage and Bristol Post – Assistant Dubbing Mixer. Preparation and mixing of Natural History documentaries such as “Trials of Life” and “Wildlife on One”, factual television such as “Antiques Roadshow”, TV drama – “SheWolf of London” and the occasional low budget feature film – “Project Shadowchaser”.
